eDNAtec founder interviewed by Popular Science

eDNAtec founder and Chief Scientific Officer, Dr. Mehrdad Hajibabaei, was interviewed by Popular Science about the company’s collaborative work with Fisheries and Oceans Canada to catalogue the biodiversity in the deepest parts of the Labrador Sea.

The study demonstrated that eDNA technology is much more efficient than traditional methods of species detection, like acoustics, trawling, and baited cameras.
